What is Sorted?

Sorted is a marketplace of professional home organizers. We call our professional home organizers 'Sorters'. You may browse the organizers available in your location to find a Sorter that matches your desired expertise and price point to transform your space into an organized haven!

How do I book a Sorter?

Go through the booking flow here. Select the organizer that fits your price point and desired expertise level. Once selected, you will be prompted to complete a $25 deposit to book a video consultation. The deposit will be applied towards your project total should you decide to move forward or refunded if you do not move forward. Pay the deposit and you will be shown a booking calendar with the Sorter's availability for your initial consultation video call. On the consultation video call, you will meet your Sorter, show them your space and your Sorter will devise a plan. The consultation call isn’t just about booking a session—it’s about giving you valuable insight, fresh ideas, and clarity on what’s possible in your space.

After your consultation call, you may move forward with the plan, ask to be paired with a different Sorter, or if you decide not to move forward, receive a full refund for your deposit.

Who are the Sorters on your platform?

All Sorters are home organizing pros in your area. They operate as independent contractors. Sorted vets and background checks all Sorters before they join our platform so you have peace of mind when booking.

The level of expertise per Sorter varies and is listed in their profile, which you will see when exploring the options.

How do I select the best Sorter available?

Each Sorter on our platform is given a 'Level' - these indicate how many organizing hours a Sorter has completed. Those at a higher level have completed more organizing hours and have more experience. That being said, our entry level organizers are amazing - you will be able to browse images of their past work to get a sense of their organizing style.

Ultimately, it depends on your budget and your goals - there is a Sorter on the platform for everyone!

What kind of organizing projects can a Sorter do?

Our Sorters can organize almost everything! From organizing kitchens, closets, garages, and offices to creating customized systems for entire homes. You can start small with a few hours of organizing or you may book larger blocks of time to complete full rooms. You will see on each Sorter's profile certain areas of expertise.

How much does it cost to work with a Sorter?

Our Sorters each have their own hourly price point. You will find a mix starting at ~$45/hour and going up to $200/hr for our most experienced organizers that can tackle custom build outs.

There is a three hour minimum to work with a Sorter and payment is due before the start of your first session.

Will I need to buy organizing supplies?

On the consultation call, you will go over with your Sorter what items you may need, if any. Your Sorter may recommend items, you may purchase items you want your Sorter to specifically use, or your Sorter may find creative ways to use items you already have. It is up to you.

If I like my Sorter, can I keep working with them?

Yes! If you like your Sorter, we absolutely want you to continue the relationship with them. Simply book another organizing session with them.
